I personally love avocados. I have always loved avocados very publicly eating them like an apple. Turns out this yummy treat helps lower undesirable LDL cholesterol when eaten in place of saturated fat. In other words fruit and vegetable oil is good for you. Tip: I personally use vegetable oil in place of butter. Feel free to try that. Fruit and vegetable oil taste great and benefit your heart, cholesterol levels and overall health generally speaking. Avocados contain about 20 nutrients many of which are heart healthy including unsaturated fat, fiber, Vitamin K, Vitamin E, and potassium. Avocado Trivia: Technically speaking avocados are a fruit not a vegetable. Avocados are primarily grown in California and Florida. Both types are yummy. California avocado is my favorite even though the Florida Avocado has fewer calories per serving. Avocados are excellent plain or used as a spread in your favorite sandwich or used as an ingredient in your favorite salad Etc. I've even been known to slice avocados and Lace them on pasta. Yummy and Heart Healthy too.
