3 Empowerment Strategies 1) MIT ( most imperative tasks) 2) Timing 3) The Dare Principal 1) MIT: Most imperative Tasks a) Keep It Simple b) Throw every single thing you "have" To Do onto a physical or digital piece of paper in 60 seconds or less. Leave no task, desire, miscellaneous un-listed. Back away at or before 60 seconds. c) Set a physical alarm for 1 hour from the time you finish your 60 second task listing experience. d) Let your subconscious do the talking in the background while you are continuing on with your day during the aforementioned hour. e) At the hour alarm return to your 60-second list circling the three most imperative tasks that must be done to fill your basic needs such as keep a roof over your head got yourself a good keep your medical insurance in place etc. f) Now address 1 of the top 3 imperative tasks 1 at a time alternating your task efforts category every hour. Allocate your effort Focus on the most imperative completions in terms of maintaining your basic needs such as housing, job, food etc. g) When in doubt or torn between a craving desire and the primary task ask yourself the following questions honestly and they will send you in the most positive, effective direction. i) Get specific; what is the genuine issue you're confronting? ii) Get clarity; which issues are the most imperative time sensitive or testing? iii) When settled which issue will have the best positive effect? 2) Timing a) Any reasonable time is a good time. b) The sooner the better for me personally. c) Get un-stuck from negative reasoning when applicable. i) Ask yourself what issues are coming up for you personally around the negative thought processes you are recognizing, if any. What are said implications? ii) How can you re-frame your self talk? iii) How might you see your situation from other points of view? iv) What else might you consider valid? d) in my personal opinion the timing stuff is a little bit of blaze pop-culture thing. In other words I personally don't take the timing part too seriously. If self-inquiry and planning isn't working for you employ the the help of a medical professional and psychiatrist and psychologist immediately. Take advantage of whatever services your insurance will pay for. If you don't have insurance try any Community groups Faith groups and Social Services and Friends to help fill the gap financially, emotionally, intellectually and so on. If you are feeling extremely desperate walk yourself into an emergency room and consider what immediate options they can make available for you. If one emergency room doesn't give you what you need go to the next nearest emergency room and so on until you do get what you need. 3) The Dare Principal a) Consider a mix of challenge and responsibility. b) Dare yourself to accomplish a single small reasonable step toward the most imperative of your Top 3 Most Imperative Tasks. c) Openly proclaim or post said dare and follow up to announce your completion of that personal dare. I personally experience empowerment with The Dare Principle. I find it playful, fun and advantageous. In short, 3 productive strategies to empower yourself 1) MIT ( most imperative tasks) 2) Timing 3) The Dare Principal Enjoy your positive outcomes.
