Again, welcome.  I'm Lucy Hart Professional Coach.  Welcome to my LIFE COACHING description.

Staying on your intended route through life challenges you sometimes.  There are all kinds of distractions, circumstances and people constantly weighing on your attention and time.

I can help you route life's challenges  through focus on your priorities, goals and the steps needed to design and live the life you desire to live.

I want you to see the possibilities.  I want you to choose the path of meaning, purpose and joy.  And, I want to be available to you as your partner/sounding board and support you in becoming your best-self.

I do Life Coaching from my home Los Angeles, California as well as throughout Southern California.  Many of my clients live in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Orange County and throughout the nation.  I Coach clients throughout the U.S. as Coaching is most often done on the phone.

I believe that Life Coaching increases happiness and goal attainment because it gives you a place to stop and examine your life and helps you identify what you do and don't want in your life.  And it often takes just a few small shifts in behavior, attitude or environment to become much happier and more successful.  Because Coaching is an ongoing process, it allows you to implement and reinforce these small changes and helps you determine how to overcome any barriers you encounter.  And because you meet with your Coach regularly, your focus stays on making the changes necessary.

Knowing what you want is the key.  When we yearn for something more that is noble and healthy, we are at our most alive.


I base much of my approach to coaching on the field of Positive Psychology learned first hand.  Here are examples of some of my guidelines:

2. Utilizing your values in your work and avocations will help you feel more fulfilled.

3. Balancing your pleasure and gratitude (life purpose) will increase your happiness.  (Too much of either can result in unhappiness).

If the answer is yes I am the coach for you. 

I am certainly not typical.

I created multiple income streams before 7th grade.  I was traveling America as a professional Ballet dancer with various Dance Companies by the time I was in 8th grade.  And by 9th grade I was a creative consultant, coach and instructor while concurrently maintaining my multiple side businesses and advanced placement academics.  Those businesses evolved into event management and talent showcasing.  By the time I was 23 I was also a nationally certified personal trainer, aerobics/yoga/mind-body relaxation instructor and entrepreneur.  These practices naturally evolved into elite lifestyle consulting.


These accomplishments did not come easy.  I cross trained and studied with a fierce independence.  In the mist of my copious efforts my sister was brutally murdered in front of me.  And I was beaten beyond recognition with my back broken in 4 places, broken femur, clavicle and skull.  My son was also murdered in the hit.  I was never supposed to walk again but I do.  I can never be who I was before because of the devastation to my brain.  At 19 I woke up from coma with the average brain function of a 70 year old.  That will never recover.  What I have is experience and re-education literally learning to walk again from scratch.  For the obvious reasons I coach my clients to self-actualization with accuracy, care and a subtle urgency to get it while you got it so to speak.

How Coaching Works
I believe that part of my job as your Coach is to help you create strategies, skills and actions to sustain and build more happiness if there is access.  I am not judging you.  Without access is no problem by way of exploring strategies, skills and actions toward self-actualization simply becoming present in the moment.  Even in silence.  Even in protest.  It is what it is.  I am with you.

As I Coach you, I will take into account your learning style, communication style, the current issues you're facing and you overall goals.  I will support your learning and help you develop new awareness and perspectives.  I will be your non-judgmental guide, helping you seek clarity your life, relationships, self and work.  My goal is to help you achieve deep inner awareness about who you are, what you want, what gets in your way and how to overcome it and/or how to live with it and/or how to leave when/if there is access.  Most importantly leading you to self-actualize, sit in silence, look within.

Some of the coaching modalities that you can choose from include: brainstorming, deep questioning (appreciative inquiry), goal setting, personal visioning, hypnosis, sound modalities, meditation, guided relaxation, role play, observation and feedback, guided imagery, analysis of inventories, assessments, option exploration, planning and open space for venting emotions.


With most Coaching engagements, when we first start working together, you will select 5 main areas that you want to work on in Coaching.


Prior to each session, you will determine what you'd like to work on in that session.  If you cannot determine what to work on in a session, I will help you... a focus for that session.

If you find it helpful, at the beginning of each Coaching session, we will review your actions from the last session to help you create accountability for yourself and to brainstorm ways to overcome barriers you've encountered.

As we work together on your chosen focus for the session I will ask deep questions, provide processes and tools and utilize inventories and assessments, as applicable, to help you identify your goals and reach them.

In your Coaching Sessions: 

I will create a space where you can:

Learn about yourself

Explore possibilities and solutions

Review and adjust your life and/or career path

Practice new skills


I will also provide articles, book recommendations and curriculum to enhance your learning and support you in your learning and goal attainment.


Why Coaching Works:

Convenient:  Coaching is done on the phone so you don't even have to leave your office or home.


Efficient:  We will get a lot done in a very short amount of time (30 or 45 minutes).  These short phone sessions will fit easily into your busy schedule.


C0-Designed:  We will work together to determine the goals, coaching session agendas, coaching approaches and supporting actions for your Coaching.

Coaching is a Process requiring consistency, perseverance and active participation.  To honor that process, I request an initial client commitment of three months.

I am based in Los Angeles California but I work with clients throughout the United States.

I prefer  to work with my clients on the phone because it is more convenient and saves time.

My usual Coaching structure is to work with you two or three times per month for 45-minutes.
Or we can design the Coaching engagement to meet your needs.
